At The Giving Tree, every gift is thoughtfully designed, handcrafted, and carefully packed to ensure the highest quality. We strive to provide a delightful experience with every order. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, please review our Refund & Returns Policy below.
Returns
We accept return requests only under the following circumstances:
- You received a damaged product.
- You received an incorrect product.
- The product has a manufacturing defect.
- The product was delivered in an unusable condition due to damage during transit.
To be eligible for a return:
- The request must be made within 48 hours of receiving the order.
- The product must be unused and in its original condition.
- All original packaging, tags, and accessories must be retained.
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging must be provided for verification.
Products that have been used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Customized or personalized products.
- Corporate bulk orders produced according to customer specifications.
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.
- Gift cards or promotional items, if applicable.
Since many of our products are handcrafted and made specifically for our customers, slight variations in color, texture, size, or finish are natural and should not be considered defects.
Refunds
Once your returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the status of your refund.
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
- The refund may take 5–10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping charges, if any, are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/incorrect product.
Replacement Policy
Instead of a refund, we may offer a replacement if:
- The wrong product was delivered.
- The product arrived damaged.
- There is a verified manufacturing defect.
Replacement products will be shipped at no additional cost after the issue has been reviewed and approved.
Order Cancellation
Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled before they are dispatched by contacting our customer support team as soon as possible.
If the order has not entered production or shipping, a refund may be issued after deducting any applicable payment processing charges, where permitted.
Customized Orders
Customized, personalized, and corporate bulk orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun, as they are created specifically for the customer.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs of the product.
- Photographs of the outer packaging.
- A brief description of the issue.
Our team will review your request and provide an appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved due to our error, defective products, or incorrect shipment, we will arrange the return or bear the applicable return shipping costs.
If the return is requested for reasons other than our error, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer, where applicable.
Quality Commitment
Each product from The Giving Tree undergoes quality inspection before dispatch. Because many of our gifts are handcrafted using natural materials, slight differences in appearance make every piece unique and are not considered defects.
